Testimonials

What makes Mr. Clarke unique is the versatility of his talent and his musical intelligence. He has appeared at opera houses and with orchestras around the world in the widest variety of roles imaginable — from Mozart operas to Porgy and Bess, from Bernstein to classic Broadway to Sondheim. I can think of few singers who can do as many things well, or take on new challenges as quickly and adeptly, as Mr. Clarke.
— KEITH LOCKHART, conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra

What the press say

Ole Man River...was rendered all the more moving for the elegant restraint shown by bass-baritone Rodney Earl Clarke.

While all four soloists were well cast, the star of the show for me was baritone Rodney Earl Clarke whose rich vocals were simply breath-taking. His performance of Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific was one of the best versions of the song I’ve ever heard.
